Therefore, we need find out the pollution causing factors of the protective lens. And check it in time, then take protective measures.
There are many possible reasons causing pollution of the protection lens, usually include waste residue, oil stains, dust, water mist, and mixtures, etc.
1. Waste residue: the main reason is that the parameter are set improperly, which make the cutting waste splash back on the lens. It can be solved by adjusting the process parameters of cutting or perforation, such as adjusting the follow-up height, cutting air pressure, laser pulse parameters, etc.
2. Oil stains or dust: the auxiliary gas itself or the gas circulation pipeline is polluted. It can be prevented and controlled by adding a filter device.
3. Water mist: Generally caused by excessive temperature difference. The ambient temperature is too high, and the cutting gas temperature is too low, so the protective lens is formed by condensation in the ambient temperature. We can take appropriate measures to lower the ambient temperature and reduce the temperature difference.
