1. Determine the processing materials
According to the difference of laser generation, laser source are divided into CO2 and optical fibers. CO2 is mainly suitable for non-metal engraving and cutting, and optical fibers are mainly suitable for metal marking and cutting. Co2 laser machine have engraving , cutting, hollowing out three basic functions.
2. Determine processing needs
Determine the processing method according to the product requires. If it is engraving, it depends on the specific requirements of material hardness and engraving depth. If it is cutting, the maximum cutting thickness of the material should be determined, so as to select the appropriate laser tube power.
3. Determine the product size
Select the appropriate model according to the size of the product needs to process. For example, 1325 is 1300*2500mm.
4. Determine the laser power
According to the different materials to be processed, the appropriate watt of the laser tube should be selected. For example, engraving bamboo, wood, paper and other handicrafts does not require a high-power laser tube, but if engraving hard materials such as ceramic glass, purple sand, stone, etc., its need to increase the power, if you cut thick acrylic MDF and other plates, you need to choose high-power according to the thickness to achieve twice the result with half the effort.
